The Gist of It
Presentation Coaching has been one of the most interesting aspects of my occupation. German-style presentations differ greatly from English-style presentations. In Germany people struggle tremendously to get the gist across and business conduct still seems to exclude the combination of information and entertainment. The general assumption separates business from private, hence entertainment is clearly considered private. Is it possible to manage the tightrope walk of information and entertainment?

Cultural Mishap
Obviously it is a challenge for German business people to handle conflicts with their British counterparts. It seems a mutual reluctance regarding tolerance or even going as far as accepting difference exists, but also a lack of knowledge and awareness. Hence it is just as necessary to increase cultural awareness in terms of doing business with English speaking cultures as it is concerning Asian cultures. Ultimately people need to be interested in the impact of their own cultural behavior.
